The United States and Iran Make a Deal

Introduction

The United States and Iran signed a deal to stop a war. They will talk for 60 days about nuclear weapons and peace.

Main Body

The deal stops the fighting and opens a sea path for ships. The US will give Iran $300 billion to fix its country. But many people in the US are angry. They say the deal is bad because Iran still has missiles.

The US is also fighting with friends. President Trump and the leader of Italy are angry at each other. The US and Israel also disagree. The US says Israel needs American help, but Israel wants more pressure on Iran.

There are problems at home too. The President did not talk to Congress about the deal. He is also fighting with the New York Times newspaper. Now, US leaders are visiting other countries to talk about safety.

Conclusion

The war stopped for now. But the US and its friends do not trust each other.

🧩 The 'Action' Pattern

Look at how the story describes what people do. Notice these simple patterns:

1. Who + Does what

  • The US → signed a deal.
  • The US → will give money.
  • The President → did not talk.

2. Feeling-Words (The 'Angry' Group) In A2 English, we use simple words to show emotions. In this text, we see:

  • Angry (The US people are angry).
  • Disagree (The US and Israel disagree).
  • Trust (They do not trust each other).

3. The 'Also' Bridge When you want to add more information, use "also". It connects two ideas simply:

  • Idea A: The US is fighting with friends. \rightarrow Idea B: The US is also fighting with the newspaper.
