🏎️ The 'Change' Words
In this story, things move. To reach A2, you need to describe how things change. Look at these patterns:
1. Going Up or Down
- Moved up → Better position (Example: Ryan Preece moved up to 16th).
- Moved down → Worse position (Example: Shane moved down to 17th).
2. The Result of a Problem When something bad happens, we use because:
- Crash → because of a crash.
- Broken car → because his car broke.
3. Past Actions (The -ed rule) Most words here end in -ed. This tells us the race is over:
- Finish → Finished
- Change → Changed
- Shout → Shouted
Quick Guide:
Win (Present) → Won (Past/Special)
Lose (Present) → Lost (Past/Special)
