⚡️ THE 'ACTION' PATTERN

Look at how the text describes things happening right now. This is the secret to A2 speaking.

The Formula: Person + am/is/are + Action-ing

Examples from the text:

  • People are protesting → (Happening now)
  • Soldiers are going → (Happening now)
  • They are taking → (Happening now)

Why this matters: If you just say "People protest," it is a general fact. If you say "People are protesting," you are describing a live scene.

Quick Shift:

  • General: I eat food. (I do this every day)
  • Live: I am eating food. (Right now!)

Vocabulary Building Block

  • Worried → Feeling scared or nervous.
