💡 The 'Past Action' Pattern

In this story, most things already happened. To tell a story in English, we often change the action word (verb) by adding -ed.

Look at the change:

  • Post \rightarrow Posted*
  • Shoot \rightarrow Shot (Special change!)
  • Hurt \rightarrow Hurt (No change!)

🛠️ Building Sentences

To reach A2, you need to connect people to their actions simply:

  1. Who? \rightarrow Did what?
  2. The boys \rightarrow posted pictures.
  3. The police \rightarrow caught the boys.

⚠️ Watch Out!

Some words are "rule-breakers." They don't use -ed.

  • Take becomes Took
  • Find becomes Found
  • Is becomes Was
