💡 The 'Past Story' Pattern

To reach A2, you need to tell a story about things that already happened. Look at how this text does it:

1. The Action Words (Past Simple) Most words here end in -ed or change their shape. This tells us the event is finished.

  • Find \rightarrow Found (Police found drugs)

2. Describing 'How Much' Beginners often just say 'a lot'. To move to A2, use these specific phrases from the text:

Huge amountightarrowextExtremelylargequantity\text{Huge amount} ightarrow ext{Extremely large quantity} More thanightarrowextAhighernumberthan...\text{More than} ightarrow ext{A higher number than...}
