Former Minister Park Sung-jae Goes to Prison

前部長朴聖材入獄


Introduction

A court in Seoul gave Park Sung-jae 25 years in prison. He was the Justice Minister. He helped former President Yoon Suk Yeol try to take total control of the country in December 2024.

首爾的一家法院判處朴聖材 25 年徒刑。他曾任司法部長,在 2024 年 12 月協助前總統尹錫悅試圖完全控制國家。

Main Body

Park helped the President. He told his staff to find space in prisons for political enemies. He also sent lawyers to the military command. He stopped people from leaving the country.

President Yoon also went to prison. He got a life sentence. He used drones over North Korea to make a fake crisis. This was to justify his rules. He lost his job in April 2025.

Other leaders got prison time too. The Defense Minister got 30 years. The Prime Minister got 15 years. The President's wife is also in prison for money problems.

Conclusion

Park Sung-jae is now in prison. The courts in South Korea are still punishing the leaders from the 2024 crisis.
