🛑 Money Words & Action
Look at how we talk about money in this story. It is simple and direct:
- Get → Use this for receiving money or jobs. ("She tried to get more money")
- Give → Use this for sending money to others. ("They gave money to companies")
- Lose → Use this when money goes away. ("They lost 95 million dollars")
🕰️ The "Past" Trick
To tell a story about things that already happened, we add -ed to the end of the action word.
Now Then
- Work Worked
- Help Helped
- Plan Planned
Note: If the word is irregular, it changes completely (like Give Gave).
💡 Quick Rule: 'Too' + Adjective
When something is more than what is okay, we use too.
Weak (Not strong) Too weak (Problem!) Much (A lot) Too much (Problem!)
