Introduction

Ukraine is attacking roads and power in Crimea. They want to stop Russia from moving things there.

烏克蘭正在攻擊克里米亞的道路與電力。他們希望阻止俄羅斯在該地運送物資。

Main Body

Ukraine uses drones to hit bridges and roads. Now, it is hard for Russia to move food and fuel. Some people in Crimea have no electricity.

There is not enough gas for cars. The Russian leaders stopped selling gas to normal people. They only give gas to the government.

Ukraine also hit oil factories in other Russian cities. Russia now wants to stop selling diesel to other countries.

Russia also attacked a city called Kryvyi Rih. Three people died. Ukraine wants more air defense tools to protect people.

Conclusion

Crimea has very few resources now because the roads and power are broken.

It shows a goal or a need. Look at how it changes based on who is doing the action:

  • They want \rightarrow They want to stop Russia.
  • Russia wants \rightarrow Russia now wants to stop selling diesel.
  • Ukraine wants \rightarrow Ukraine wants more air defense tools.

The Rule: If it is one person or one group (He, She, Russia, Ukraine), add an -s \rightarrow wants. If it is many people (They, We), use want.


Action Words (Present Simple)

Notice how the text describes things happening now using simple verbs:

  • Uses (Ukraine uses drones)
  • Hit (Ukraine hit oil factories)
  • Have (People have no electricity)

These are 'fact' words. We use them to tell a story about a current situation.
