💡 The 'Opposites' Pattern

In this story, the writer uses words that are opposites to show different places and ideas. This is a great way to grow your vocabulary quickly.

1. Where people are:

  • Cities (Big buildings, many people) \rightarrow Countryside (Green fields, few people)

2. How money moves:

  • Give (Send money away) \rightarrow Get / Receive (Take money in)

3. Agreeing vs. Disagreeing:

  • Agree (Say 'Yes' to the same idea) \rightarrow Disagree / Argue (Say 'No' or fight about an idea)

Quick Tip for A2 Learners: When you learn a new word like 'receive', always look for its opposite ('give'). This doubles your speaking power!
