⚡ The 'NOT' Pattern
In this story, we see how to say things are not happening or not correct. This is the fastest way to move from A1 to A2.
The Simple Rule:
Put did not (or do not) before the action word.
Examples from the text:
- Wrong: Players wore hats. Correct: Players did not wear the correct hats.
- Wrong: He listened to the coach. Correct: He did not listen to his coach.
- Wrong: He wanted to answer. Correct: He did not want to answer.
💡 Quick Tip:
Notice that after did not, the action word stays simple. We don't say "did not listened"; we say "did not listen."
