🕒 Talking About the Past

In this story, we see how to describe things that already happened. Most words just add -ed to the end.

The Pattern: Action → Past Action

  • stop → stopped
  • hit → hit (this one stays the same!)
  • use → used

🛠️ Simple Action Words

Look at how the story explains a sequence of events. It uses short sentences to tell a story:

  1. The train stopped.
  2. The train did not stop.
  3. It hit the first train.

Note: To say something did not happen, we use did not + the basic word (stop), not the -ed version.
