Vocabulary Learning

🕰️ Talking about the Past

When we tell a story about things that already happened, we often change the action word (verb) by adding -ed.

Examples from the story:

  • Arrest \rightarrow Arrested
  • Push \rightarrow Pushed
  • Look \rightarrow Looked

⚠️ The 'Rule Breakers'

Some words are rebels. They do not use -ed. You must memorize their new form:

  • Say \rightarrow Said (Not sayed)
  • Find \rightarrow Found (Not finded)
  • See \rightarrow Saw (Not seed)

👤 Who did it?

To keep the story clear, we use small words to replace names so we don't repeat them:

Ketan \rightarrow He / Him Siya \rightarrow She / Her Siya & Chetan \rightarrow They / Them
