🌍 Speaking about 'Likes' and 'Dislikes'

In this text, we see a simple way to talk about opinions. To reach A2, you need to move between positive and negative ideas quickly.

The Pattern: [Person/Group] → [Feeling] → [Object]

  • Positive: "Some people... like him."
  • Negative: "People... do not like him."

💡 Simple Rule for Beginners: When you want to say 'no' to an action (like like, trust, work), just put do not (or does not) before the action word.

Comparison Table:

Positive (+)Negative (-)
Trust \rightarrow TrustTrust \rightarrow do not trust
Like \rightarrow LikeLike \rightarrow do not like
Is \rightarrow IsIs \rightarrow is not

⚠️ Watch Out! Notice how the text uses "is not a good partner." We don't use "do not" with the word is. We just add not after it.
