The government of Uttar Pradesh said no to three men. These men wanted to leave prison early.

Vinod Upadhyay killed his wife and four children in 2006. The police say he is dangerous. He cannot leave jail.

Sappu and Pawan Kumar killed young girls. Sappu killed a ten-year-old girl in 1995. Pawan Kumar killed a sixteen-year-old girl in 2008.

The government says these crimes are very bad. They want to protect children and families. They believe the men must stay in prison.
