💡 The Power of "NOT ENOUGH"

In this story, we see a pattern that is very useful for A2 students. When something is missing or small, we use: not enough + [thing].

From the text:

  • "did not have enough staff" → (They needed more people/doctors).
  • "did not have enough freezers" → (They needed more machines to keep bodies cold).

How to use it in your life: Instead of saying "I have a little money," you can say: $

  • I do not have enough money $
  • I do not have enough time $
  • There is not enough water $

🚩 Quick Word Swap

Look at how the text describes bad situations. You can use these simple words to talk about problems:

  • Bad job → Poor quality work.
  • Bad condition → In a very poor state/broken.
  • Big mistakes → Serious errors.

Pattern: Big/Bad + Noun = A fast way to describe a problem without using hard words.
