Introduction

Some NHL hockey teams have new plans for their 2026-27 season.

Main Body

The NHL now has 84 games in the regular season. Because of this, the season starts earlier in September. Teams now play only four preseason games instead of six. The Seattle Kraken, Nashville Predators, and Carolina Hurricanes have their new schedules.
