Introduction
Many earthquakes happened recently in Pakistan, Japan, the USA, and the Philippines.

Main Body
Pakistan had an earthquake on June 26. The ground moved because two big pieces of land hit each other.

Japan had two earthquakes. Eight people had small injuries. There was no big wave of water in the ocean.

Why this is useful: Instead of learning many difficult words, you can use HAD to describe a past event or a past experience.
