⚡ The 'Opposite' Battle

In this text, we see people fighting with words. To reach A2, you need to show contrast (two different ideas).

Look at these pairs from the story:

  • Add \rightarrow Remove (The book adds history \leftrightarrow it removes words)
  • Fair \rightarrow Not fair (The government says it's fair \leftrightarrow parties say it's not)
  • Agree \rightarrow Angry (Some people agree \leftrightarrow others are angry)

💡 Simple A2 Rule: When you want to show a difference, use the word "But".

Example: "The book is new, but it removes old words." Example: "Some leaders are happy, but others are angry."
