🕒 Past Actions (The 'ED' Rule)

In this story, most things already happened. To talk about the past, we often add -ed to the action word.

Look at these changes:

  • Attack \rightarrow Attacked
  • Explode \rightarrow Exploded
  • Touch \rightarrow Touched

⚠️ The 'Rule Breakers' (Irregulars) Some words don't follow the -ed rule. You must memorize these because they are very common:

  • Go \rightarrow Went
  • Do \rightarrow Did
  • Die \rightarrow Died (looks like -ed, but the base is 'die')

💡 Quick Tip for A2: If you see a word ending in -ed, it usually means the event is finished.
