🔍 Finding the 'Action'

In English, we use simple words to say what happened. Look at how the story changes from now to before.

The Past (Finished) These words tell us about things that are over. They usually end in -ed:

  • Started \rightarrow (She began the rescue)
  • Arrived \rightarrow (The dogs came to the place)
  • Found \rightarrow (Police saw the bones)

The Present (Happening Now) These words tell us what is going on right now:

  • Are checking \rightarrow (Police are doing it today)
  • Do not know \rightarrow (They have no answer now)

💡 Quick Logic: Numbers & People

Notice how the text connects people to numbers:

  • 1 person (Shannon) \rightarrow Says (One action)
