Introduction

Two states in India have problems with blood banks. Maharashtra is checking a blood bank for stolen blood. In Jharkhand, a court helped two doctors after a medical mistake.

In Maharashtra, the government stopped the Sir JJ Mahanagar Blood Bank. The bank took 55 units of blood and sold them for money. This is illegal. One worker paid a fine of 55,000 rupees.
