Introduction

New Caledonia had elections. Now the people and France will talk about the future of the land.

Main Body

Many people voted for 76 leaders. These leaders make local laws. In the South, people who like France won many seats.

In 2024, there was a big fight. Some people died and buildings broke. This happened because people disagreed about who can vote.
