🕒 The "Past Time" Pattern
Look at how we talk about things that already happened. We often just add -ed to the action word.
- stop → stopped*
- follow → followed*
Wait! Some words are rebels. They change completely:
- go → went*
- give → gave*
- write → wrote*
🛠️ Building Sentences
To say something is happening now, we use is/are + -ing:
The news companies are still closed. (State of being)
The workers are moving. (Action now)
Quick Tip: If you see a date (like 2017 or 2013), you MUST use the past form (stopped, gave, wrote) → This is the key to A2 level storytelling.
