Two big earthquakes hit the north of Venezuela on June 24, 2026. Many people died and many buildings fell.

Two earthquakes happened very close together. They were very strong. Many houses in Caracas and La Guaira broke. About 6.8 million people need help. The damage costs 6.7 billion dollars.

Help came from 24 countries. They sent dogs and experts to find people. Now, the experts only look for dead bodies. The government sent 14,000 soldiers to the streets. Some people are angry because the government was too slow.
