The government of West Bengal changed some laws about special groups and public safety.

Main Body

The government changed the rules for the OBC group. They removed 77 Muslim groups from the list. Now, the special help for this group is 7% instead of 10%. The government wants the list to be correct.

There is a new law for public safety. Police can now put bad people in jail for 12 months without a trial. The police can also take money or houses from people who break things.
