💡 The "Past Story" Pattern

Look at these words from the text:

  • crashed
  • died
  • landed
  • opened

The Secret: Most of these words end in -ed. This is the easiest way to tell a story about something that already happened.

How to use it: Take a basic action → add -ed → Now it is in the past.

  • HelpHelped
  • LookLooked
  • TurnTurned

⚠️ Watch out! Some words are rebels and change completely. They don't follow the -ed rule:

  • FlyFlew (Not "flyed")
  • FallFell (Not "falled")

Quick Word Map: People

  • Pilot (The driver of the plane)
  • Student (The person learning)
  • Expert (The person who knows a lot)
