📅 Talking about Dates & Time
In the text, we see how to say when things happen. This is very important for A2 level.
1. Specific Dates We use "on" for a day and month:
- on July 29 on [Month] [Number]
- on October 7 on [Month] [Number]
2. Now vs. Later Look at these two opposites from the story:
- Is happening now (Action in progress)
- Comes out on... (Action in the future)
3. Number Words Instead of just saying 'many', we use specific numbers to be clear:
- 13,000 officers
- 14.5 million voters
Quick Tip: When you see a date, always use ON. Wrong: In October 7. Right: On October 7.
