⚡️ Action Words: Now vs. Before

To reach A2, you must know how to change a word to show it already happened. Look at these changes from the story:

  • StartStarted (The fire started)
  • BreakBroke (The AC broke)
  • RunRan (They ran out)
  • SaveSaved (Firefighters saved people)

The Rule: Most words just need an -ed at the end. Some words are 'rebels' and change completely (like run to ran).

📦 Word Groups: Things and Places

Notice how the story groups items together. This helps you describe a room or a city:

The Home:

  • Furniture (chairs, tables)
  • Electronics (TVs, computers)
  • Air conditioner (cooling machine)

The City:

  • Building (tall house/office)
  • Ground floor (the bottom level)
