New US Rules for Green Cards

Introduction

The US government changed the rules for people who want to live in America. These new rules make it harder to get a green card.

Main Body

Some visas for people from India are finished for this year. Now, people from India cannot get EB-2 or EB-5 visas until the next year starts.

USCIS can now say 'no' to applications if they have a small mistake. For example, if a person forgets to sign the paper, the government rejects it. The government also keeps the money the person paid.

Officers now look at each person very carefully. They decide if a person can stay in the US. This makes the process slow and difficult for many people.

Conclusion

These hard rules will stay until September 30. After that, the government will have new visas.
