⚡ Focus: Past Actions

In this text, everything happened in the past. To tell a story about yesterday or last year, we change the action word.

The Pattern

  • Hit \rightarrow Hit (stays the same)
  • Die \rightarrow Died
  • Kill \rightarrow Killed
  • Push \rightarrow Pushed

How to use it: Just add -ed to the end of most words to move them to the past.

Example from text:

  • Present: A man kills a driver. \rightarrow Past: A man killed a driver.
  • Present: A woman pushes a man. \rightarrow Past: A woman pushed a man.
