🛠️ The 'Action' Words (Past Tense)

In the story, everything happened in the past. To talk about yesterday or last year, we often add -ed to the word.

Look at these changes:

  • Help → Helped
  • Lock → Locked

But be careful! Some words are 'rebels' and change completely. You must memorize these:

  • Die → Died (regular)
  • Fall → Fell (irregular)
  • Break → Broke (irregular)
  • Say → Said (irregular)
  • Are → Were (plural past)

📦 Grouping Things Together

To reach A2, you need to describe groups of items. Notice how the text lists things using commas and the word 'and'.

The Pattern: Item A, Item B, and Item C

Examples from the text:

  • Ships, planes, and 300 workers.
  • Food, water, and medicine.

Try this logic: If you want to say you have a pen, a book, and a phone \rightarrow "I have a pen, a book, and a phone."
