🟢 The 'More' & 'Less' Pattern

To reach A2, you need to describe changes. This text shows us how to compare amounts easily.

1. Adding to a number

  • More people → A larger amount of people.
  • Two more seats → 2 + the current number.

2. Taking away from a number

  • Lose one seat → Current number - 1.
  • Twelve instead of thirteen → The number changed from 13 ↓ 12.

3. The 'Too' Problem When something is a problem, we use too + adjective:

  • Too big → It is bigger than it should be. (Negative feeling)
