Heavy rain caused floods and landslides in Ghana and Ivory Coast. Many people died and cities have big problems.

In Ivory Coast, rain started on Saturday. About 20 people died in Abidjan. Some people died under broken buildings.

In Ghana, it rained very hard on Monday. Accra had more rain than ever before. At least 12 people died there.

Water covered the main roads. The army and fire service helped people. They saved more than 400 people.

President Mahama said the rain is bad because of the world's weather. He also said people built houses in the wrong places.
