⚡ The 'Past' Logic

In this story, we see how to talk about things that are finished.

The Rule: To talk about the past, we often just add -ed to the action word.

  • Buy \rightarrow Bought (Special word!)
  • Play \rightarrow Played
  • Score \rightarrow Scored
  • Sign \rightarrow Signed

Wait! What if it didn't happen?

To say 'No' in the past, use: did not + action word (normal form).

Example:\text{Example:} "He did not cost any money."

(Notice: We don't say 'did not costed'. We keep the action word simple when we use 'did not'.)
