The 'Movement' Pattern
- Leaving going away from a place. (Example: LeBron is leaving the Lakers)
- Went to moved to a new place in the past. (Example: Jaylen Brown went to Philadelphia)
- Go to a possible move in the future. (Example: He might go to the Warriors)
Quick Word Swap Instead of just saying "change," use these specific words to sound more natural:
- Leaving (Away) Going to (Towards)
- Left (Past away) Went (Past towards)
Note on 'Now' Notice the word now. We use it to show a change from the past to the present: "He now plays for the Houston Rockets." (Before he was somewhere else; currently, he is here).
