This group started in 1970. They do not like new changes in the Church. They want to use old ways and the Latin language. They had a similar fight with the Pope in 1988.

🕰️ The 'Time' Logic
In this story, we see two ways to talk about the past. One is for finished actions and one is for long-term feelings.
1. Quick Actions (Happened once)
- Made (They made bishops)
- Told (He told them to stop)
- Started (The group started in 1970)
2. Long-term States (Stayed the same)
- Did not like (They didn't like changes for a long time)
- Wanted (They wanted old ways)
🧩 Word Building: 'The Opposite' (Not)
To reach A2, you must move a "not" to change a sentence. Look at how the text does it:
- Give permission Did not give permission
- Allowed Not allowed
- Follow rules Does not follow rules
Simple Rule: Use "does not" for one person (Pope Leo) and "do not" for a group (SSPX).
