⚡ Quick Change: Present vs. Past
In this story, we see how things were and how they are now. This is the secret to moving from A1 to A2.
1. The 'Old' Way (Past Simple) When something is finished, we often add -ed to the action word:
- Change Changed
- Help Helped
2. The 'Now' Way (Present Simple) When something is a fact or happening now, we use the basic word:
- The logo looks modern.
- Adidas sells items.
💡 Simple Tip for A2: If you see a date like "June 26" or "1980s", look for those -ed words. If you are talking about "now" or "today", keep the word simple!
