In this text, we see a very useful pattern for A2 students to express goals and desires: Want + to + Action.
How it works:
When you want to do something, you use want to followed by a simple verb.
Examples from the text:
- Governments want to help (Goal: Helping)

- He wants to give (Goal: Giving shares)
- He wants to be happy (Goal: A state of feeling)
Key Rule:
If the person is one (He, She, It, Amazon), add an -s to want:
