Introduction
The Hong Kong Observatory has a weather warning. A storm is moving toward Hainan Island.
香港天文台已發布天氣警告,一場風暴正向海南島移動。
Main Body
The Observatory started Signal No. 1 on Thursday morning. The storm is in the South China Sea. It is 500 kilometers away from Hong Kong.
天文台於週四上午開始發布一號信號。風暴目前位於南海,距離香港 500 公里。
The weather will get worse. There will be strong rain and strong winds on mountains. People must not go to the beach or swim in the sea.
天氣將會惡化。山區將有強雨與強風。請勿前往海邊或在海中游泳。
The Observatory will check the storm again on Friday. They will decide if they need a stronger warning, Signal No. 3.
天文台將於週五再次檢查風暴情況,並決定是否需要發布更強的三號信號警告。
