Introduction

The Trump government is fixing roads and parks in Washington, D.C. They want the city to look good for the 250th birthday of the USA.

How it works:

  1. Use "Some people" to introduce the first idea.
  2. Use "Other people" to show a different or opposite idea.

🛠️ Action Words (Past Tense)

Notice how the text describes things that already happened using -ed:

  • Fix \rightarrow Fixed
  • Start \rightarrow Started

When you see -ed, the action is finished.

  • Example: "They fixed 50 parks" (The parks are now okay).
