Introduction
The Indian government tried to keep plane fuel prices low. However, airlines did not join the plan. At the same time, Air India lowered its fuel fees.

The government offered a plan to help airlines. They wanted to keep fuel at 115 rupees per litre. This plan helped airlines when fuel was very expensive.
