Introduction

The Indian government changed the job of Mr. Lokhande Prashant Sitaram. He is now a temporary leader of the CBSE.

印度政府更改了 Lokhande Prashant Sitaram 先生的職務,他現在是 CBSE 的臨時領導者。

Main Body

Mr. Sitaram has two jobs now. He works for the Home Ministry. He also leads the CBSE for a short time. The government will find a permanent leader later.

In June, the government changed other leaders too. They moved some people to different offices. Varun Bhardwaj is the new Secretary.

💡 The 'Time' Word

In the text, we see the word Temporary. This is a very useful A2 word. It means something is not forever.

Look at these opposites:

  • Temporary \rightarrow (Short time / Not forever)
  • Permanent \rightarrow (Long time / Forever)

When we talk about jobs, we use is or works for.

  • He is a leader. (This is his role)
  • He works for the Ministry. (This is his place of work)

Notice the sentence: "The government changed other leaders too."

In English, we put too at the end of the sentence to mean "also".
