Introduction

Iran is having a big funeral for its old leader, Ali Khamenei. He and some family members died in February.

Main Body

Ali Khamenei was 86 years old. He led Iran for 37 years. He died in February because of bombs from the US and Israel. Now, the government is moving his body through many cities in Iran and Iraq. The funeral ends on July 9 in Mashhad.

Many people will come to the funeral. The government thinks 15 to 20 million people will go. Offices in Tehran are closed. Cars cannot go in the city center. The army and police are watching everything to keep people safe.
