📦 The 'Action' Words

Look at how the text talks about things that happened. In A2 English, we use simple words to show a finished action.

  • Past \rightarrow Now
  • gave \rightarrow give
  • got \rightarrow get
  • died \rightarrow die
  • destroyed \rightarrow destroy
  • sent \rightarrow send

💡 Simple Rule: If you see -ed at the end (like destroyed), it usually means it happened yesterday or a long time ago. Some words change completely (like give becomes gave). These are called 'irregular' words.

🌍 Describing Groups

To reach A2, you need to connect people to places. Note these patterns:

The WHOhelps people\text{The WHO} \rightarrow \text{helps people} 21 countrieswork together\text{21 countries} \rightarrow \text{work together}
