The government of Venezuela says thank you to other countries. These countries helped after big earthquakes in the north.

On June 24, two big earthquakes hit Venezuela. Many houses fell down in La Guaira. 2,954 people died and 16,592 people were hurt. 190 buildings were completely destroyed.

About 30,000 local workers and 3,000 foreign experts helped. They saved 6,462 people. They gave food and help to many families. Some people are sad because the work was slow.

President Delcy Rodriguez had a special meeting at the port. She gave medals to the leaders of the rescue teams. She thanked the teams from Turkey and their rescue dogs.
