Introduction

Many people in Albania are angry. They are protesting every night in the city of Tirana. They want Prime Minister Edi Rama to leave his job.

Main Body

The protests started because of new hotels. The government wants to build expensive hotels in a special nature area. This area is important for birds. In May, the government put fences on the beach. People are sad because they cannot go there now.

People are also angry about the government. They say the leaders take money and help their friends. Some protesters broke a statue of the Prime Minister. They call this movement the 'pink flamingo revolution'.

Some protests became violent. The police used water and gas to stop the crowds. Some police officers were hurt. The police also put some people in jail.

Conclusion

The situation is still dangerous. The government does not want to change its plans. The people still want the Prime Minister to leave.
