Vocabulary Learning
☁️ The "Movement" Pattern
Look at how the text describes things moving from one place to another. For A2 learners, these simple verbs are your best tools:
- Sending "sending ash into the air"
- Went "went 1.5 kilometers into the sky"
- Moved "The ash moved south"
- Leave "Planes... could leave"
- Land "planes could not land"
Quick Tip: If you want to say something changed position, use these words instead of complex descriptions.
Example transformation: Instead of: "The ash was transported by the wind" Say: "The ash moved south."
🕒 Time & Limits
Notice how the text marks a deadline or a specific moment:
- At (Exact time): "at 7:45"
- Until (Up to a point): "until 9:00 PM"
Use Until when a situation stops at a certain time. *Example: "I am busy until 5:00 PM."
