Introduction

Mount Etna volcano is active again. It is sending ash into the air. This is a problem for the airport in Catania.

Main Body

The volcano started on Sunday at 7:45. A big cloud of ash went 1.5 kilometers into the sky. The ash moved south.

Catania airport changed its rules. Planes at the airport could leave. But new planes could not land. The airport closed one area.

Only five planes could land every hour until 9:00 PM. ITA Airways cancelled some flights or changed the times. The volcano was also active in June.

Conclusion

Mount Etna is still active. The ash is still a problem for flights.

Quick Tip: If you want to say something changed position, use these words instead of complex descriptions.

Example transformation: Instead of: "The ash was transported by the wind" Say: "The ash moved south."

🕒 Time & Limits

Notice how the text marks a deadline or a specific moment:

  • At (Exact time): "at 7:45"
  • Until (Up to a point): "until 9:00 PM"

Use Until when a situation stops at a certain time. *Example: "I am busy until 5:00 PM."
