Introduction

China and Russia are practicing with their ships in the Pacific Ocean.

Main Body

The two countries have a big exercise called Joint Sea-2026. They are near Qingdao, China. They want to keep the area safe.

Russia sent a submarine and other ships. China sent destroyers and other ships. They practice how to find enemies and use missiles.

China and Russia have worked together since 2012. President Putin visited China two months ago. The two leaders are now very close friends.

The United States is not happy. The US thinks China helps Russia in the war in Ukraine. China says they are neutral.
