🕒 Talking About the Past

In the story, we see words that tell us things already happened. To move from A1 to A2, you need to spot the difference between Regular and Irregular past words.

1. The Easy Pattern (Just add -ed) Most words follow a simple rule.

  • Play → Played
  • Start → Started

2. The Change Pattern (The word transforms) Some words change completely. You must memorize these!

  • Go → Went
  • Win → Won
  • Run → Ran
  • Do → Did

Quick Guide: Today vs. Yesterday

  • I win the game. (Now/Always)
  • The team won the game. (Finished/Past)

💡 Pro Tip: Look for these 'past' words at the start of a sentence to understand when a story takes place.
