💡 The 'Action' Pattern

In this story, we see how to describe who does what using simple present and past actions.

1. The 'Right Now' Action (Present) We use this for facts and things happening now:

  • The UN says... \rightarrow Action: Speaking/Stating
  • He needs... \rightarrow Action: Requirement
  • Israel says... \rightarrow Action: Speaking/Stating

2. The 'Finished' Action (Past) We add -ed or change the word to show it already happened:

  • Israel took (Past of 'take') \rightarrow Action: Moving someone
  • Guards hurt (Past of 'hurt') \rightarrow Action: Causing pain

3. Word Power: People & Places

  • Boss \rightarrow The person in charge.
  • Court \rightarrow The place where judges make decisions.
  • Prison \rightarrow A place where people are kept by law.

Quick Tip: To move from A1 to A2, stop saying just "He is..." and start using active words like "He needs" or "They want".
